How to Play Q*bert's Qubes
Quick start
- Check the target cube pattern and required lines.
- Hop diagonally between cubes.
- Approach a cube from a direction that rotates it toward the target.
- Complete the lines while avoiding enemies and the edge of the structure.
Controls
Diagonal joystick directions: hop between neighbouring cubes. Landing rotates the cube according to the approach direction. Match the target pattern along the required lines.
Q*bert's Qubes — About this game
Q*bert’s Qubes changes the familiar hopping task into arranging rotating cubes. Each landing turns a cube in the direction of the jump, changing the visible faces toward or away from the target pattern. Progress requires completed lines rather than changing every cube on the field, making the order of the route important. Enemies interfere with that rotation plan, while green objects can temporarily slow or freeze them. The safe path must therefore account for both where Q*bert lands and the orientation left behind for the next visit.
