How to Play Quantum (rev 2)
Quick start
- Move the probe around a small group of nuclei.
- Close the trail into a loop to capture what it surrounds.
- Try enclosing several targets together when the route is clear.
- Avoid dangerous moving particles while clearing the remaining nuclei.
Controls
Use the trackball to move the probe and draw its trail. Make a closed loop around targets to capture them; avoid moving the probe into hazardous particles.
Quantum (rev 2) — About this game
Quantum (rev 2) replaces shooting with drawing. A trackball guides a probe that trails a line behind it; closing that line around particles captures them for points. Clearing all the nuclei completes a stage, while enclosing several together can improve the reward. The same open space needed for a loop must be shared with moving hazards, including fast photons, extending pulsars and splitting objects. Plan a loop large enough to capture a useful group without sending the probe directly into something dangerous.
