How to Play Racing Beat (World)
Quick start
- Choose a circuit.
- Steer and accelerate, changing between low and high gear as required.
- Watch the tyre icon while avoiding excessive skids.
- Use the pit-request button when a stop is needed.
Controls
Steering wheel: steer. Accelerator pedal: increase speed. Two-position gear lever: low / high gear. Button beside the lever: request entry to the pits.
Racing Beat (World) — About this game
Racing Beat (World) adds tyre management to a Formula One race viewed from behind the car. Its four courses range from the easier American circuit to a more demanding Japanese route. Skidding through bends wears down the tyre indicator, changing how the car corners as grip deteriorates. A pit request offers a way to deal with that wear, at the cost of time away from the race. Smooth steering therefore serves both the immediate corner and the condition of the car over the following laps.
