How to Play Raiga - Strato Fighter (Japan)

Quick start

Fire at an approaching target.
Collect an available weapon upgrade.
Use Change Direction when an enemy appears behind the ship.
Turn back before the next forward formation arrives.

Controls

Move with the joystick. The first action fires and the second changes the ship’s facing direction. Tapping Shot rapidly fires faster than holding it. Use the direction change to attack either side of the scrolling screen.

Raiga - Strato Fighter (Japan) — About this game

Raiga: Strato Fighter lets the ship reverse its firing direction without turning the scrolling stage around. A separate direction action points the main gun toward an enemy arriving from behind, while pickups strengthen the ship and its support weapons. Protecting that accumulated firepower matters because a destroyed ship returns immediately with much less power. Watching both sides of the screen remains useful even during a strong forward attack.
