Quick start
- Learn Punch, Kick and Strong Attack.
- Practise Plane Switch near the centre.
- Watch the Power Gauge as attacks and defence build it.
- Move away from an edge whose barrier has broken.
Controls
A punches, B kicks, C performs Strong Attack and D switches plane. Double-tap forward to dash or back to retreat. Attacks near an arena boundary can break the barrier and enable a ring-out.
Real Bout Fatal Fury / Real Bout Garou Densetsu (Korean release) — About this game
Real Bout Fatal Fury gives its three attack buttons a separate Plane Switch action, letting a fighter leave the main lane for the foreground or background. Normal and special techniques build the Power Gauge for counters and stronger attacks. Near the edge, repeated impacts can break a barrier, after which a knock out of the arena wins without exhausting the opponent’s life. Learn a short punch-and-kick sequence before moving between planes, then watch the damaged edge as carefully as the life bars: an ordinary retreat can become the route to a ring-out.
