How to Play Real Bout Fatal Fury Special / Real Bout Garou Densetsu Special (Korean release)

Quick start

Choose a fighter.
Begin with a short Punch–Kick–Powerful Attack sequence.
Use D to change plane and watch the opponent’s position.
Build the gauge before attempting a powered counter.

Controls

A is Punch, B Kick, C Powerful Attack and D Plane Switch. Tap Forward twice to dash or Back twice to retreat. Terry’s Power Wave is Down, Down-Forward, Forward + A; Burn Knuckle is Down, Down-Back, Back + A or C.

Real Bout Fatal Fury Special / Real Bout Garou Densetsu Special (Korean release) — About this game

Real Bout Fatal Fury Special returns its fighters to two combat planes. Switching planes changes the line of an attack, while particular moves pull an opponent toward the fighter or push them away. Breaking a stage barrier stuns the opponent instead of producing the previous game’s ring-out finish. The power gauge supports Break Shot counters and stronger special attacks, making defence and plane position part of the same exchange.
