How to Play Return of the Invaders
Quick start
- Watch how the opening formation moves.
- Move left or right and fire while avoiding reflected shots and diving aliens.
- Aim away from a UFO’s centre when seeking its weapon.
- Collect the released upgrade before the next wave.
Controls
Move left or right and press Fire to shoot. Clear each alien formation while avoiding enemy projectiles, reflected shots and diving attackers. Hit an overhead UFO away from its centre to release its carried weapon, then collect the upgrade.
Return of the Invaders — About this game
Return of the Invaders is an exact registered version in this game family. Return of the Invaders changes stationary alien rows into formations that circle, dive after being hit and reflect shots. Bonus stages interrupt ordinary waves, while overhead UFOs can release weapon upgrades when hit away from their centre. Watch the formation pattern before firing rapidly, keep clear of reflected shots, and collect a released upgrade before the next attack closes in. Bootleg or revision-specific graphics, timing, scoring and patterns are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
