How to Play Robocop 2 (US v0.05)
Quick start
- Learn Left Shot, Right Shot and Jump.
- Move onto the target’s depth plane.
- Fire toward that target while keeping room to move.
- Jump when a higher weak point needs a shot.
Controls
Use Left Shot and Right Shot to fire in the corresponding direction; Jump is a separate third action. Walking and firing can be combined. RoboCop cannot duck, and shots need the correct depth alignment with the target.
Robocop 2 (US v0.05) — About this game
RoboCop 2 gives the cyborg separate left- and right-firing attacks while he walks through the arcade’s streets. A third action jumps, providing a way to reach a higher target without a crouch to avoid a low threat. Targets also have to share RoboCop’s depth on the playfield, so facing the correct direction alone does not guarantee a hit. Learn the two firing directions before crossing a crowded section, then line up with the target’s lane before spending time shooting past it.
