How to Play Robo Wres 2001
Quick start
- Choose a robot and approach the opponent.
- Try a close punch or kick.
- Use the hold action from slightly farther away.
- Watch the opponent’s state and adjust the distance for the next attack.
Controls
Directional lever: move around the ring. At close range, A kicks and B punches; C initiates a hold from slightly farther away. A becomes a dropkick at long range, while B can knee-drop a downed opponent.
Robo Wres 2001 — About this game
Robo Wres 2001 stages a tournament between six wrestling robots. Movement around the ring sets the distance for the next technique, with the same button producing different actions when the opponent is close, farther away or down. Kicks, punches and holds provide the starting choices, while later techniques depend on the opponent’s state and the selected robot. Learning the spacing is therefore more useful than repeatedly pressing every button: a move that connects at close range may become a different attack from across the ring.
