How to Play Rock'n Rage (World)
Quick start
- Move through the opening area and deal with nearby threats.
- Break pots to look for note guns and score items.
- Search for the period's special character and protective field.
- Find the exit and defeat the boss guarding it.
Controls
Move with the eight-way joystick. The two action buttons separate close-range weapon attacks from musical-note projectiles. Rick uses a guitar and John a microphone stand at close range; note strength can change with pickups. The exact numbered button assignment is not stated here.
Rock'n Rage (World) — About this game
Sheena has been taken through different periods of history, and her bandmates must fight their way after her. Rock'n Rage combines searching the surrounding area with close combat: the route out of a period is not the only thing worth looking for. Breaking pots can reveal score items or note guns that provide a ranged attack. Each period also hides a special character who can grant a protective force field. The exit is guarded by a boss, so reaching it unprepared can waste the supplies you have just found. Explore carefully, then approach the final fight with useful equipment.
