How to Play Rod-Land (World, set 1)
Quick start
- Reach a monster with the capture rod.
- Slam it repeatedly until it is defeated.
- Summon a ladder for the next platform.
- Relocate the ladder when its old position helps a pursuer.
Controls
The rod captures an enemy for repeated side-to-side slams. A separate action conjures one ladder above or below the fairy. Creating another removes the old ladder. Arcade fairies do not have a Jump action.
Rod-Land (World, set 1) — About this game
Rod-Land (World, set 1) gives Tam and Rit a capture rod instead of a direct killing shot. A trapped monster is swung against the ground until defeated, leaving a useful pickup. Movement depends on ladders because the fairies cannot jump in the arcade game. A single conjured ladder can appear above or below the fairy, and summoning it again removes the earlier one, including a route an enemy may be climbing. Plan the ladder needed for the next platform before capturing another monster, then relocate it when its old position gives a pursuer an advantage.
