How to Play Rompers (Japan, old version)
Quick start
- Find a route toward the remaining keys.
- Approach a movable slab from a useful side.
- Push it onto an enemy or out of the route.
- Keep collecting keys before the defeated enemies hatch again.
Controls
Four-way directional control: move through the garden. Attack button: push the wall directly ahead; movable stone slabs can be toppled, while fixed barriers remain in place.
Rompers (Japan, old version) — About this game
Rompers sends Chap through garden mazes to collect every key. Stone slabs block the routes, but pushing one over can crush an approaching enemy and create a temporary opening. Defeated enemies return as eggs that hatch again, so clearing a path does not remove pursuit for the rest of the round. Fixed barriers and gaps further restrict the route. Gathering the keys promptly matters because waiting too long brings a pursuer that cannot be crushed by the slabs.
