How to Play Scion (Cinematronics)
Quick start
- Move clear of enemy spacecraft and fire.
- Collect the bomb equipment revealed during combat.
- Attack the ground structures holding the current city layer together.
- Finish destroying the layer to continue deeper into the city.
Controls
Joystick: move the spacecraft. Fire action: attack aerial enemies. Bomb action: attack vulnerable ground structures when bomb equipment is available.
Scion (Cinematronics) — About this game
Scion (Cinematronics) places its spacecraft over a layered city whose ground structures must be broken apart to reach the next area. Shooting the aerial enemies keeps a route open and can reveal the bomb equipment needed against the city’s vulnerable points. The battlefield loops around the current layer until its destruction allows further progress. The player therefore needs to divide attention between defending the craft and completing the ground objective, rather than waiting for ordinary scrolling alone to carry the stage to an ending.
