Forward fire handles threats along the flight path, while bombs reach tanks and installations below. Fuel drains continuously and destroying fuel tanks replenishes it, making those targets part of survival as well as the score. Ten sections precede the base and its loot pickup. Keep the helicopter clear of the cavern walls before lining up a shot, then use a bomb on a fuel tank while there is still room to adjust the flight path.
