How to Play Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future (4rd Arrange Edition 2013)

Quick start

Choose a fighter and a Super Art.
Try the two light buttons for throws and the two medium buttons for leap attacks.
Use ordinary blocking and parry only attacks you can time.
Balance meter spent on EX moves against the amount saved for your Super Art.

Controls

Use light, medium and heavy Punch and Kick. Light Punch+Light Kick throws or breaks a throw; Medium Punch+Medium Kick performs a leap attack; Heavy Punch+Heavy Kick performs a Personal Action. Tap forward just before a high attack or straight down just before a low attack to parry. Applicable special moves become EX versions with multiple-button inputs.

Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future (4rd Arrange Edition 2013) — About this game

Choose a fighter and a Super Art, then battle with normal attacks, EX special moves and parries. Light Punch with Light Kick throws, while Medium Punch with Medium Kick performs a leap attack that can hit an opponent guarding in a crouch. These inputs differ from the previous game. Alongside regular parries timed against incoming attacks, a harder parry from a block flashes red on success. Start with ordinary blocking rather than trying to parry everything. Post-match ratings consider offense, defense and technique as well as speed, encouraging varied play. EX moves and your chosen Super Art share meter, so plan how to spend it.
