How to Play Shinobi (Star bootleg, set 1, System 16A)

Quick start

Learn the distance where shuriken changes to a close attack.
Search upper and lower platforms for the young ninjas.
Rescue everyone before going to the exit.
Save ninjutsu for dangerous groups.

Controls

Move left/right with the joystick and press Down to crouch. Use Attack, Jump and Ninjutsu. (Up or Down)+Jump moves to the corresponding platform level. Attack becomes a close-range move near an enemy.

Shinobi (Star bootleg, set 1, System 16A) — About this game

Joe Musashi challenges the criminal organization ZEED to rescue kidnapped young ninjas. Attack throws shuriken at distant enemies and strikes nearby ones; upgrades change these to a gun and sword. Search upper and lower platforms and rescue everyone before heading to the exit. Ninjutsu has limited uses and its type is set by the scene. Use crouched movement, crouched fire and jumps between platform levels to reposition against shielded or elevated enemies.
