How to Play Shoot Out (Japan)
Quick start
- Try the optional target-practice room.

- Use the evasive jump when return fire threatens.
Controls
One button fires and the other jumps enemy attacks. The eight-way joystick moves the gunman; Down crouches and upward directions set the firing angle. Shooting a civilian or being hit costs a life.

Shoot Out (Japan) introduces its aiming and evasive controls with an optional target-practice room before the live gunfight. The main stages then add criminals who shoot back from cover and civilians who must be protected from the player’s own fire. The second action lets the gunman jump enemy bullets, while the directional input also changes crouching and shot angle. Clearing the required criminals advances the route, but an accidental shot at a civilian costs a life. Use the quiet practice start to learn an accurate angle before reacting to a sudden movement behind cover.
