How to Play Side Arms - Hyper Dyne (World, 861129)
Quick start
- Fire toward the side containing the next enemy.
- Shoot a power-up until it shows the upgrade you want.
- Change between the weapons you have collected.
- Try a combination pickup for supporting fire.
Controls
Move with the eight-way joystick. Separate buttons fire Left and Right; the third changes among collected weapons. Shooting a power-up changes its type. Alpha/Beta combines suits; taking a hit separates a combined pair.

Side Arms gives its flying suit separate left and right guns, keeping targets on either side within reach. Shooting an item changes the available upgrade before collection, and the weapon-change action switches among acquired weapons. An alpha or beta pickup combines suits for additional fire coverage. In two-player play the combined machine divides movement and ordinary fire from the supporting multidirectional attack.
