Sky Soldiers (bootleg) is an exact registered version in this game family. Sky Soldiers uses a trip through different periods of history to frame its scrolling aerial battles. Before a stage, the player chooses the limited secondary weapon that will support the main Wave Shot. Missiles, homing attacks and heavier bombs offer different ways to meet the next formations, but the chosen stock is resupplied only after the level. Rescuing parachuting pilots can award points or strengthen the cannon, adding another reason to move beyond a single safe firing lane. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
