How to Play Slap Shot (Ver 2.2 J)
Quick start
- Choose a character and learn the ordinary return.
- Try the direction-changing hit.
- Build the special meter.
- Press both hit buttons as the puck approaches to use it.
Controls
One hit button returns the puck normally; the other alters its direction. With a charged special meter, press both together as the puck approaches. If struck by the rival’s special, rapidly press both to resist it.
Slap Shot (Ver 2.2 J) — About this game
Slap Shot (Ver 2.2 J) turns air hockey into duels between six characters with individual special shots. The ordinary hit and direction-changing hit provide two ways to return the puck, while a charged meter enables the character’s special. An opponent caught by that shot must rapidly resist it to keep the puck from reaching the goal. Learn the ordinary return before changing its direction, then save the charged attack for a puck approaching a position where the special can be triggered cleanly.
