How to Play Slither (set 1)
Quick start
- Roll the trackball to an open position.
- Use Fire Up against a snake above the blaster.
- Use Fire Down when another approaches from below.
- Clear a path through obstructing grass before the next wave crowds the route.
Controls
The trackball moves the blaster around the screen. Fire Up shoots above it and Fire Down shoots below. Shoot snakes and obstructing vegetation while keeping space to escape. Clear the wave quickly to collect the remaining bonus.
Slither (set 1) — About this game
Slither (set 1) gives its blaster the whole screen to cross while snakes and other creatures approach from either side. Separate upward and downward fire makes positioning a choice between two firing lanes. Destroyed snakes leave grass behind, and gorillas can add more vegetation, gradually restricting the next route. Clearing the snakes before the decreasing bonus reaches zero rewards a fast wave, while pterodactyls and pursuing snakes can interrupt an otherwise useful firing position.
