Sonic Boom (bootleg of FD1094 317-0053 set) — About this game

Sonic Boom (bootleg of FD1094 317-0053 set) is an exact registered version in this game family. Sonic Boom builds a small fighter formation around the player’s jet through pickups released by enemy craft. Each attached plane adds another gun, helping meet the waves of aircraft, tanks and installations below. A separate smart bomb provides a limited answer to a crowded screen or heavily defended target. Losing the jet sends the player back through an earlier part of the approach, making the gathered formation valuable to preserve. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
