Quick start
- Choose a plane and learn A Shot and B Bomb.
- Collect currency high on the screen when safe.
- Destroy the route aircraft’s desired wing first.
- In cooperative play, overlap compatible craft for the combined shot.
Controls
A fires and B uses a stocked bomb. The first wing destroyed on the route-selection aircraft determines the next stage. In two-player play the selected planes share a selection-screen row; overlapping craft produce the combined shot while neither player bombs.

Aero Fighters 3 sends modified older warplanes through branching stages whose routes are decided by which wing of a departing aircraft is destroyed. Power-up and bomb capacities differ between the selectable planes, while currency pickups lose value as they move farther down the screen. Two compatible pilots can overlap their craft for a combined shot, provided neither uses a bomb. Learn the chosen plane’s firing coverage before chasing a high currency pickup, then choose the next route deliberately instead of firing through both wings without noticing which falls first.
