Space Invaders DX (US, v2.1) — About this game
Space Invaders DX (US, v2.1) combines the original formation-shooting game with additional arcade modes. The standard game offers several display styles while retaining the laser base, descending invaders and destructible shelter. A simultaneous versus contest places the players on separate fields, where shooting coloured invaders produces effects that can help or hinder either side. Parody mode replaces the familiar targets with characters and scenery from other Taito games. The chosen mode changes the presentation or competition while keeping attention on the advancing formation.
