How to Play Super Puzzle Fighter 2 X': Balance Patch (Hack)
Quick start
- Place matching colors beside one another without blocking the field.
- Build a rectangular group to create a Power Gem.
- Bring a same-color Crash Gem into contact to break the group.
- Look for chains while keeping room for the next falling pair.
Controls
Move the falling pair with the joystick. The cabinet's Rotate Left and Rotate Right actions turn the pair in opposite directions. Gem destruction depends on matching Crash Gems, not on a separate attack button.
Super Puzzle Fighter 2 X': Balance Patch (Hack) — About this game
Matching gem colors is only the beginning in Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. A matching Crash Gem must reach the colored gems before they break and send Counter Gems to the opponent. Building a rectangular block joins its gems into a Power Gem, whose eventual destruction sends a stronger attack than the same gems broken in a loose arrangement. Chaining these breaks can create an even more threatening exchange. Leave a route for the Crash Gem instead of covering a promising block with unrelated colors. The puzzle is a balance between preparing a large attack and keeping enough space to survive until it can be triggered.
