How to Play Splatter House (World, new version (SH3))
Quick start
- Move and jump past the room’s hazards.
- Use ordinary attacks against nearby enemies.
- Pick up a useful weapon with the attack action.
- Practise the sliding kick by pressing Down+Attack just before landing.
Controls
Left/Right: move. Down: crouch. A: attack, pick up a weapon or attack with it. B: jump. Just before landing, Down+A performs a sliding kick. Some weapons are thrown once and the rifle has limited ammunition.
Splatter House (World, new version (SH3)) — About this game
Splatterhouse follows Rick through a mansion where platform hazards interrupt the close-range fighting. Ordinary attacks change with posture, and a timed landing can become a sliding kick that carries him along the floor. Weapons found in the stages provide other ways to deal with an approaching creature, though thrown equipment and firearms have limited use. Alternate paths appear through parts of the house, with larger encounters ending the stages. Watching the floor and the distance to a target helps preserve health through the next room.
