How to Play Super Qix (US)
Quick start
- Move along the border to a point far from enemies.
- Hold Draw and move inward to close a short area.
- Watch for letters or items after claiming it.
- Keep moving on the line and work toward the required proportion.
Controls
Use the four-way joystick. Hold Draw and move inward to leave a line; without it, move along existing borders. Avoid border-bound Sparx and Qix in the field as you close the line. Check control settings for key bindings.
Super Qix (US) — About this game
Move the diamond marker from existing borders and draw lines to claim more of the field. Enclosed areas reveal the picture; reach the required proportion to finish. Sparx chase you along the border, Qix can touch an unfinished line, and lingering brings a flame along your trail. After claiming an area, letters or items sometimes appear to complete a word or provide extra effects. Drawing differs from the original Qix’s two-speed system, so begin with short, safe sections.
