How to Play Super Ranger (older, NOVA license)
Quick start
- Move with the directional controls and shoot enemies ahead.
- Jump to reposition while watching nearby attacks.
- Press up at a gun-marked door to enter and refill ammunition.
- Follow the prompts and press up to board an available elevator.
Controls
Directional controls move the character. The two separate actions are firing (SHOT/SHOOT) and jumping (JUMP). Press up at a door with a gun symbol to enter and replenish ammunition. Press up to board elevators too.

Move, shoot and jump through side-scrolling enemy positions. Look for openings to attack as well as safe paths forward. Enemies can close in, fire guns or throw grenades, so avoid lingering in an exposed position. Watch your ammunition: press up in front of a door marked with a gun to enter and replenish it. Follow the prompts and press up to board usable elevators and reach routes between floors. Learn shooting and jumping first, then include supply stops in your route to prepare for the next fight.
