Star Trek — About this game

Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator asks the Enterprise to defend sectors from Klingon ships while managing several reserves. Shields absorb attacks, photon torpedoes provide a limited weapon and warp energy supports a stronger change of position. Docking with a starbase replenishes those supplies, but the bases can themselves be threatened. A map-like view and a forward combat display show different parts of the encounter. Balancing the immediate firing angle with the route back to a base helps keep the ship in service.
