How to Play Star Wars (set 3)
Quick start
- Aim at approaching fighters or their incoming shots.
- Avoid surface defences when that phase appears.
- Steer through the trench barriers.
- Fire at the exhaust-port target to complete the assault.
Controls
The flight yoke controls the X-wing’s aim and movement. Its firing actions operate the lasers; use the aiming reticle to intercept enemy fire and line up the trench’s final target.
Star Wars (set 3) — About this game
Star Wars (set 3) sends the X-wing through a repeating Death Star assault from a first-person view. Space combat leads toward surface defences and the trench, although the first wave omits the surface approach. Enemy fireballs can be shot down as well as avoided, preserving the remaining shields. At the trench’s end, hit the exhaust-port target to destroy the station and regain a shield; a miss costs one and repeats the trench. Learn a controlled movement past the barriers before chasing another turret, then line up the final target instead of firing blindly at the walls.
