How to Play Strike Force (rev 1 02/25/91)
Quick start
- Choose the next planet to confront.
- Move the fighter toward the threatened colonists.
- Fire at the attackers and select a useful secondary weapon.
- Use the selected weapon and restock supplies before the next battle.
Controls
Eight-way directional control: move the fighter. Fire action: use the ordinary attack. Weapon Select: choose a secondary system. Weapon action: activate the selected system.
Strike Force (rev 1 02/25/91) — About this game
Strike Force (rev 1 02/25/91) chooses its battles among human colonies attacked by the Saurians. The fighter moves in either direction over the surface, with selectable weapons extending the ordinary attack. Supplies can be restocked between battles, while deployed marines help retrieve colonists and equipment or add firepower. The player chooses which planets to confront and when to attempt the enemy Megastar. Protecting the population while managing that broader route gives the flight a purpose beyond destroying the nearest enemy on the screen.
