How to Play Superman (World)
Quick start
- Learn Punch and the current stage’s secondary attack.
- Hold Punch, then release a Sonic Blast.
- Break scenery to look for useful crystals.
- Adjust to the flight sections’ shooting pattern.
Controls
Hold and release Punch for the charged Sonic Blast. The secondary attack changes with the stage: ground fighting includes kicks, while the horizontal flight sections use heat vision. Objects can be broken or thrown.
Superman (World) — About this game
Taito’s Superman changes between ground fighting, vertical flight and horizontal shooting as the hero pursues Emperor Zaas. Ordinary blows share the arsenal with a Sonic Blast charged by holding and releasing Punch. Breakable or throwable scenery can reveal crystals: blue restores energy, yellow supplies a ready projectile, and the flying sections use red crystals to clear enemies. A second differently dressed Superman can share the campaign.
