How to Play Tactician (set 2)
Quick start
- Use the opening preparation period to place a barricade.
- Leave a useful movement route for the ship.
- Fire at the enemies as they emerge.
- Move away from incoming shots rather than expecting a fixed marching formation.
Controls
Joystick: move the ship. Fire action: shoot enemies. Barricade action: place dots during the preparation period before enemies emerge.
Tactician (set 2) — About this game
Tactician (set 2) gives the player a preparation period before its enemy ships emerge. During that interval, small dots can be laid out to form protective barricades. Once the attack begins, the ship can move slightly up and down as well as across the bottom of the screen. Enemies do not remain in a neat formation, instead roaming and firing toward the player. The arrangement made before the fight therefore affects which approaches remain protected during the more chaotic shooting phase.
