How to Play Tapper (Budweiser, 1/27/84)
Quick start
- Move Up or Down to choose a counter.
- Hold the tap action to fill a mug and release it to serve.
- Move along the counter to catch returning empties.
- Avoid serving an empty counter and keep customers away from the keg.
Controls
Up/Down: change counters, wrapping between the top and bottom. Left/Right: run along the current counter. Hold the tap action: return to the keg and fill a mug. Release: send the full mug down the bar.

Tapper (Budweiser, 1/27/84) makes serving a drink only half the bartender’s job. Customers approach along four counters, and a full mug pushes its recipient back toward the door. Anyone who remains inside returns an empty mug that must be caught before it falls. Moving between counters keeps service going, while running along a bar can reach a returning mug or a tip. Clearing all customers finishes the screen, but an unattended customer, a dropped empty or a drink sent down an empty bar can cost a life.
