How to Play The Eye of Typhoon (HB, Beta 7 Version)
Quick start
- Select a fighter and practise the ordinary attack buttons.
- For Cho Hong, enter ←↙↓↘→ followed by A or C for Yatta Fist, as shown in the manual.
- Watch for the available Typhoon mode before attempting its extra techniques.
- Save the secret technique for a useful opportunity, since it is limited to one use per match.
Controls
Directional control: move and enter commands. A, B, C and D are attack inputs. Cho Hong’s printed commands: Yatta Fist ←↙↓↘→ + A/C; Yatta Aura →↘↓↙← + A/C; airborne Yatta Kick ↓ + B/D. In Typhoon mode, airborne C+D performs her extra technique; her secret command is ↓↙←→ + C+D, limited to once per match. Directions follow the manual’s displayed orientation.

The Eye of Typhoon (HB, Beta 7 Version) Beta 7 is a new Neo Geo interpretation built from Viccom’s earlier artwork and sound, rather than the lost original MVS prototype. Its fighters have individual techniques, and the beta manual distinguishes vulnerable high, middle and low areas alongside a Typhoon mode. That mode supplies extra attacks and a secret technique limited to one use per match. Learning one character’s printed commands gives a practical starting point before exploring the different fighting styles in this homebrew version.
