How to Play Tetris: The Absolute - The Grand Master 2

Quick start

Start and choose Normal to learn the game, or Master for the longer challenge.
Use the next-piece preview to keep the stack low and avoid covered holes.
Try up for sonic drop, then adjust the piece before it locks.
Use down to speed placement when ready, and keep clearing lines as levels rise.

Controls

Left/right: move the piece. Down: soft drop, locking a grounded piece.
Up: sonic drop to the stack without immediate locking.
A and C rotate counterclockwise; B rotates clockwise.
There is no hold-piece command in this original version.

Tetris: The Absolute - The Grand Master 2 — About this game

The second Grand Master game turns familiar line clearing into a test of placement speed and long-term control. Normal offers a shorter route ending at level 300, with helpful item blocks at milestones, while Master asks for a much longer and more demanding performance. A single NEXT preview encourages planning, and there is no hold slot to rescue a poorly prepared stack. The important new movement tool is sonic drop: pushing up sends a piece to the surface immediately without locking it at that instant. You can use the remaining adjustment time to slide or rotate before committing, making fast low-gravity placement more efficient. As the pace increases, keeping useful surfaces and understanding rotation becomes essential. Grades and completion goals give skilled players something beyond survival, while Normal provides a more approachable place to learn the game's rhythm.
