How to Play Thunder Blade (deluxe/standing) (unprotected)
Quick start
- Learn the stick’s movement at a manageable speed.
- Fire the cannon at approaching aircraft.
- Use missiles against ground targets.
- Recheck spacing after the camera changes.
Controls
The flight stick positions the helicopter. Its trigger fires the cannon, and the separate missile button launches air-to-ground missiles. The throttle increases or decreases airspeed. Both weapons have unlimited ammunition.

Thunder Blade changes between overhead and behind-the-helicopter views while attacking tanks, boats, aircraft and fortified targets. Its chain gun and air-to-ground missiles cover different threats, and both have unlimited ammunition. The separate throttle sets the flight’s pace, leaving the stick to position the craft around structures and incoming fire. Learn the opening view’s spacing before increasing speed, then reconsider the firing line when the camera changes instead of carrying the same apparent distance into the next section.
