Time Soldiers (US Rev 1) — About this game
Travel through time in a top-down action shooter to rescue captured allies. The original rotary stick combines eight-direction movement with twelve aiming positions, letting the gun point away from the direction you walk. Enemy types and attacks change across prehistoric times, Rome, the World War era, Sengoku Japan and the future, with a boss deep in each era. Use normal fire and a separate special weapon, collecting upgrades for firepower and movement. The Japanese release is Battlefield and the US release is Time Soldiers.
