Quick start
- Move close enough to a weak enemy for a wave punch.
- Defeat it to add a grenade to the stock.
- Line up the cursor ahead of the soldier.
- Throw a grenade at a tougher enemy or boss.
Controls
Move with the joystick. Punch produces a short-range energy wave and ordinary enemy kills replenish grenades. The separate Grenade action throws an explosive straight ahead toward the cursor. During the temporary shield, punching is unavailable but grenades can still be used.

Toki no Senshi - Chrono Soldier (prototype?) is an exact registered version in this game family. Chrono Soldier replaces a conventional gun with a short-range wave punch. Punching an ordinary enemy earns another grenade, making close combat the way to maintain a distant attack. Grenades fly straight toward the cursor ahead and are especially useful against tougher enemies and bosses that the punch cannot handle. A temporary shield permits contact attacks but stops punching and gives no grenade reward for those kills, changing how the next supply can be built. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
