Quick start
- Move into range and test Punch and Kick separately.
- Press Jump and Kick together for a jumping kick.
- Press Punch and Kick together to crouch beneath a high swing.
- Move to a dropped pipe or club and use it against the next group.
Controls
Move with the joystick. Punch, Kick and Jump are separate actions. Jump + Kick performs a jumping kick; Punch + Kick crouches. Weapons dropped by enemies can be picked up and used. Watch the distance to an armed enemy before committing to an attack.

Tough Turf sends its fighters through warehouses, factories and streets where weapons frequently change hands. Punch, Kick and Jump are separate actions, with simultaneous presses producing the jumping kick or a defensive crouch. A pipe or spiked club left on the floor can become the next useful attack, making position around an armed enemy important. Raised surfaces and conveyor belts also affect the exchange, so reaching a weapon and denying the same space to an opponent can matter more than standing in one place trading blows.
