How to Play Twinkle Star Sprites
Quick start
- Shoot an enemy near the rest of its formation.
- Let the explosion create a chain.
- Shoot an incoming fireball back.
- Hold and release A for a charged shot.
Controls
Move with the joystick. Tap A to shoot or hold and release A for a charge shot. B uses a bomb. Build the gauge through enemy chains to reach charge levels that send stronger attacks to the opponent.
Twinkle Star Sprites — About this game
Twinkle Star Sprites turns enemy chains into attacks on an opponent’s separate playfield. Shooting a formation so its explosions catch neighbouring enemies sends fireballs across the divider. Incoming attacks can be shot back, escalating the exchange into character-specific hazards or a boss. Building the charge gauge also unlocks stronger attacks, so clearing the player’s own screen is part of attacking the rival.
