In the command notation, A fires and C selects a weapon. B digs underground to evade danger in the map, but becomes Jump in the side-view stage. Collect coins for the shop; shoot a UFO and jump onto the descending craft to capture it.

UFO Senshi Yohko Chan alternates a city map with a side-view assault. In the map, defeated enemies provide coins for shop weapons, while digging underground avoids danger on the way to the timed exit. In the side-view stage, shooting down a UFO and jumping onto it captures the craft. The purchased weapons and captured UFO then support the fight against the boss.
