How to Play Ultraman (Japan)

Quick start

Approach the monster and test Punch or Kick.
Use Jump to change the spacing.
Watch the special-attack energy while reducing the enemy’s life.
When Finish appears, use the stored Final attack.

Controls

A is Punch, B is Kick and C is Jump. Up or Down together with A + B performs an energy-based special attack. When the enemy’s life bar shows Finish, store enough energy for the Final special attack to defeat it.

Ultraman (Japan) — About this game

Ultraman (Japan) requires more than simply exhausting the opposing monster’s life. Ordinary punches and kicks set up the finishing opportunity, but the hero must also store enough energy for the Final special attack. When the opponent’s bar shows Finish, that stored attack can end the battle. This creates two tasks within the same encounter: weaken the monster while retaining enough space and energy to land the decisive move.
