How to Play Valkyrie no Densetsu (Japan)

Quick start

Move through the area and fire at enemies.
Jump across breaks in the route and collect coins or useful pickups.
Hold the shot button to select available magic, then release to cast.
Use shops and defeat the area boss before the hourglass empties.

Directional control: move. A: fire; hold to select magic and release to cast it. B: jump. Watch health, magic reserves and the hourglass while travelling.

Valkyrie no Densetsu (Japan) — About this game

Valkyrie no Densetsu (Japan) combines a journey through eight areas with projectile combat, jumping and magic. Defeated enemies leave coins that can buy equipment and spells in shops, while other pickups sustain health or magic. Holding the shot button opens the magic selection, and releasing it casts the selected spell. The route includes pits and cliffs as well as enemies, with a boss blocking the end of each area. Watching the hourglass matters too, because the adventure cannot continue after time runs out.
