How to Play Vasara

Quick start

Select a warrior and tap Shot at the first formation.
Hold Shot to charge the melee attack.
Release it toward a useful target.
Watch the Vasara gauge before the next charge, or use Bomb when an escape closes.

Controls

Move with the joystick. Tap Shot to fire and hold then release Shot for the charged melee attack. When the Vasara gauge is full, that action uses Vasara instead. Bomb spends a stocked bomb. The original arcade controls share melee and Vasara on the same attack action.

Vasara — About this game

Vasara gives its hoverbike warriors a charged close attack alongside their ordinary gunfire. Releasing the charge can cut through danger that a shot alone would leave on the screen, while a full Vasara gauge turns that same action into the stronger special attack. Saving the gauge therefore also means holding back that use of the melee attack. A separate bomb remains available for an emergency, creating a choice among firing, charging and spending the stored resources.
