Varia Metal (New Ways Trading Co.) — About this game
Varia Metal (New Ways Trading Co.) is an exact registered version in this game family. Varia Metal sends Grey and Atuja through vertically scrolling battles without a separate character-selection screen: the player side determines the fighter. Enemy formations and bosses are met with ordinary fire, improved by collecting green power-up orbs. A charged laser provides a stronger attack when the weapon has had time to prepare it. The two-player option puts both fighters into the same scrolling battle, where weapon strength and movement through the incoming attacks remain central. Revision-specific timing, difficulty, graphics, stages and hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
