How to Play VS. Battle City
Quick start
- Move the tank with the directional control and use Shot to attack.
- Hit red flashing enemies to reveal items.
- Collect stars to strengthen your shots and other items to support defence.
- Keep enemies away from headquarters as you clear stages.
Controls
Directional control: move the tank. Shot: fire. Optional stage selection: hold the first player’s Shot while starting, use Up/Down to choose a stage, then confirm with Shot. Functional actions are used without assuming host keyboard or controller-button labels.
VS. Battle City — About this game
VS. Battle City puts player tanks against waves of enemy armour in compact battlefields. Move around the terrain, fire at enemies and defend the headquarters. Stars progressively strengthen the tank’s shooting capabilities, while other pickups can briefly stop opponents or protect the headquarters with defensive walls. Red flashing enemy tanks carry items that appear when hit. Choosing useful firing lanes and collecting upgrades helps manage the pressure as successive stages introduce different layouts.
