VS. Castlevania — About this game
VS. Castlevania adapts Simon Belmont’s castle expedition to the arcade with tighter time pressure and more punishing enemy damage. The whip clears monsters and breaks candles for useful items, while jumps carry Simon across pits and platforms. Collected secondary weapons add another attack when hearts are available. Managing distance before a whip strike matters, especially where an enemy collision can knock Simon toward a gap.
