How to Play VS. Excitebike
Quick start
- Accelerate with A and change lanes around obstacles.
- Use B for turbo while watching the engine heat.
- Adjust the bike’s angle in the air to match the landing slope.
- Pass over cooling arrows and finish within the qualifying requirement.
Controls
Joystick Up/Down: change position on the track. Left: raise the front of the bike; Left/Right in the air: adjust its angle. A: ordinary acceleration. B: turbo, which can overheat the engine.
VS. Excitebike — About this game
VS. Excitebike begins with a solo qualifying run before putting opponents on the same course. The motorcycle must pass hills, jumps and obstacles within the available time, with turbo offering speed at the risk of overheating. Moving the lever in the air changes the bike’s angle, making a landing aligned with the slope useful for preserving momentum. Cooling arrows reduce engine heat. Qualifying opens the race against other riders, where finishing among the first five continues to another course.
