How to Play VS. Ice Climber
Quick start
- Choose a mountain when the arcade stage selection appears.
- Look for breakable ice above the climber.
- Use the mallet and a timed jump to open and reach the next layer.
- Adjust the route around unbreakable blocks, moving platforms and incoming enemies.
Controls
レバーで横へ動き、二つのボタンでハンマーを振る動作とジャンプを使います。ジャンプで頭上の氷を壊して道を開き、敵はハンマーで追い払います。滑る床では位置がずれるため、足場の端から跳ぶ前に着地点を見ましょう。
VS. Ice Climber — About this game
Vs. Ice Climber challenges the climber to make a route upward through icy platforms with a wooden mallet. Break a suitable opening above, then jump through before enemies or a badly timed landing interrupt the ascent. Some blocks cannot be broken, while sliding surfaces and moving platforms demand a different approach from ordinary stationary ice. The arcade version adds its own mountain selection and weather effects, so watch the conditions on the chosen climb instead of assuming that every mountain follows the same rhythm.
